October Teacher Spotlight!

Our first Teacher Spotlight of the Year goes to Kristen Schmidt. She is our 3rd grade teacher. This is her second year here at Ramah Elementary. She attended Weber State University and earned a BAS in Elementary Education. Her favorite thing about teaching is “I love to help my students find that love for learning that my teachers and parents instilled in me.” Her favorite food is Cheese Enchiladas. She loves to hike and backpack all over the country. She also has been in the military for 16 years and counting. Her favorite subject to teach is science. Her hero is her mom because “she raised 4 children on her own working two jobs and still managed to teach us a love for learning, life, and to savor the little moments that we sometimes take for granted.” Her favorite book(s) is the Enders Games Series. And her favorite sports team is “San Diego Chargers because I grew up there as a kid and I always watch games with my dad.” We appreciate Ms. Schmidt for all her hard work and dedication her at Ramah Elementary.
